About the Role:
Kinark Child and Family Services is seeking a highly skilled Psychologist to join our team. As a Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing clinical assessment and treatment services to high-risk adolescents with complex mental health challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans for clients with complex mental health needs.
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to junior staff members.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
- Complete a two-week onboarding program, including the crisis management program Understanding and Managing Aggressive Behaviour (UMAB).
Requirements:
- Ph.D. in Clinical or Forensic Psychology and registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario.
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills, with experience working with high-risk adolescents.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices and DBT is preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingualism in English and French is an asset.
