Job Summary
:We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Kinark Child and Family Services. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in Clinical or Forensic Psychology and be registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario.
Key Responsibilities
:- Provide clinical assessment and treatment services to high-risk adolescents with complex mental health challenges and criminogenic needs within a youth justice/mental health residential treatment setting.
- Develop and implement Evidence-Based Practices and DBT to support client outcomes.
- Lead clinical teams and provide guidance on clinical leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Participate in onboarding programs, including the completion of our crisis management program Understanding and Managing Aggressive Behaviour (UMAB).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive client care.
Requirements
:- Ph.D. in Clinical or Forensic Psychology.
- Registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario.
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills.
- Knowledge and experience with Evidence-Based Practices and DBT.
- Excellent clinical leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingualism in English and French is an asset.
