Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Heritage Indian Cuisine Nanaimo is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy restaurant.
  • Supervise Kitchen Staff: Lead and motivate our kitchen team to deliver exceptional food quality and service.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and control inventory levels to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food and beverages meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Reporting and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and other key metrics.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
