Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Arbutus West Enterprises Ltd o/a Tim Hortons. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Hire food service staff
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Establish work schedules
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks
