Canadian Blood Services is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our dynamic Vancouver Collections team. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a critical role in supporting the collection of donor blood in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct phlebotomy procedures in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service to donors, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience.
- Monitor donors for safety and comfort, and provide post-donation care.
- Ensure the safe processing and handling of blood products.
- Collaborate with the collections team to achieve daily collection targets.
- Completion of high school.
- Completion of an accredited training program in phlebotomy or one year of related experience.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new systems and programs.
