Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Executive Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Okanagan Seasons Resort. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping staff and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews to ensure efficient and effective cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms and public areas.
    • Provide guidance and support to housekeeping staff to ensure they have the necessary tools and resources to perform their duties.
  • Inventory and Purchasing
    • Manage the inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and uniforms to ensure that they are adequate and up-to-date.
    • Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials, and business services as needed to maintain a high level of cleanliness and quality.
  • Inspections and Quality Control
    • Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to ensure that they meet our high standards of cleanliness and quality.
    • Identify and address any issues or concerns related to cleanliness and quality.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with housekeeping staff, other departments, and management to ensure that our guests receive exceptional service.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that our guests have a seamless and enjoyable experience.
Requirements
  • Education
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience
    • At least 1 year of experience in a housekeeping or related role is required.
  • Language
    • English is the primary language spoken in this role.
  • Work Schedule
    • 30-40 hours per week.
