About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team at Compass Canada. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and related beverages to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome customers by determining their coffee preferences and needs
  • Educate customers by presenting and explaining our coffee menu, answering questions, and making recommendations
  • Prepare coffee drinks by following established recipes and preparation techniques for a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso, cafe latte, and cappuccino
  • Sell coffee and coffee-related products by explaining the benefits and features of our coffee offerings
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace by following health and safety standards and procedures
  • Improve quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction

About You:

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Previous experience as a Barista is an asset, but not required. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be physically able to carry out the duties of the position.
