Job Summary

NETZSCH Pumps & Systems Canada is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring exceptional customer experiences by providing top-notch service and support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service and Repair: Test and observe mechanical conditions of equipment, troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment, and perform on-site servicing and repair.
  • Customer Support: Provide direct customer service, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Parts Management: Coordinate with Service to determine parts needed to complete work orders, order parts as required, and ensure that unused parts and/or cores are returned in a timely fashion.
  • Training and Development: Provide training to customers on the proper use and maintenance of our equipment.
  • Continuous Improvement: Review job processes and practices to ensure continuous improvement to the company's products, services, quality, and efficiencies.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role would be considered an asset.
  • Language: French and English spoken and written.
  • Skills: Proven ability to apply logic and reason to solve challenges, mechanically inclined, able to lift up to 50 pounds, strong organizational skills, strong safety mindset, and ability to communicate using various computer, merchandising, and marketing tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Post-secondary education in a related field would be an asset.
  • Experience: Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box.
  • Language: Excellent interpersonal and communication (written & verbal) and listening skills in both English and French.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, self-starter with the ability to work independently and as a team, demonstrates a professional demeanor, respect, and commitment to customer service excellence, cooperative and agreeable team player, displays a sense of urgency when tackling issues, and sound knowledge of mechanics with the ability to diagnose issues.
