We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Marine Biologist to join our team in Burnaby, BC. As a key member of our marine practice, you will be responsible for leading environmental impact assessments, mitigation and monitoring programs, research projects, and permitting.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and plan marine field programs, including data analysis and report writing
- Contribute leadership to the group by providing supervision, training, technical direction, and mentoring
- Assemble and manage large marine datasets
- Lead the pursuit of new business development opportunities through proposal preparation and client relationships
- Bachelor's degree in Biology; M.Sc. or PhD preferred
- Current Registered Professional Biologist accreditation with the College of Applied Biology
- Minimum 7 years of experience as a marine biologist; 10+ years preferred
- Competitive salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year
