Clean and prepare meats to ensure they are ready for processing or cutting. This includes trimming, cutting, and grinding meats to meet customer specifications.

Prepare Special Cuts of Meat

Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers, ensuring that each cut meets our high standards of quality and presentation.

Cut, Trim, and Prepare Standard Cuts of Meat

Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat for sale in our retail store or for distribution to our wholesale customers.

Operate Meat Processing Equipment

Operate band saws, manual cutting utensils, power grinders, sausage machines, and slicing machines to process and prepare meats.

Work Environment

As a Butcher - Retail or Wholesale Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing excellent customer service. You will be required to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads, making physical stamina and endurance essential for this role.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Experience

2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field is preferred.

Language

English is the primary language of communication in this role.
