Job Title: Developmental Service Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Developmental Service Worker to join our team at Community Living Trent Highlands. As a Developmental Service Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities in our group home settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support and care to individuals with intellectual disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans, ensuring the unique needs and goals of each individual are met.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive support and services.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy environment, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field (e.g., social work, psychology, or education).
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities, preferably in a group home setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with individuals, families, and colleagues.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to work varied shifts and respond to changing situations.
  • Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
