Job Summary
The Inventory Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of inventory management processes within the store. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing products, including merchandise and inventory levels.
- Ensure that all shipping and receiving documents are accurate and up-to-date.
- Communicate with the District Sales Manager, Distribution, and Buying and Merchandising departments to coordinate stock replenishment needs.
- Maintain a neat and organized merchandise area, ensuring that products are properly sized and displayed.
- Troubleshoot any inventory discrepancies or issues that may arise, working closely with the Store Manager and Co-Manager to resolve problems.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager and Co-Manager.
Requirements
- Prior retail management experience is preferred, but not required.
- 1-2 years of retail sales experience is required.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills are essential.
- The ability to work night and weekend shifts is required.
- The ability to climb, reach, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds is required.
- Standing for long periods of time is also required.
- The candidate must be at least 18 years of age.
