About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Machine Shop Supervisor to join our team at Mancor Industries- Royal Windsor Drive. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our machine shop and ensuring that all production goals are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimating and Planning: Develop and implement cost estimates and production plans to ensure efficient use of resources and meet customer demands.
  • Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of 5-10 team members, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary tools and training to perform their duties.
  • Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure that all products meet the required standards.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed and that the work environment is safe and healthy for all employees.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports on production performance, quality control, and other key metrics to management.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 35 hours per week.
