Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Bill's Trucking Ltd. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, working independently and as part of a two-person team or convoy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and safety of cargo.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, oversee all aspects of vehicle condition, and perform preventive maintenance.
  • Logistics: Arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations, as well as obtain special permits and documents required for international routes.
  • Safety and Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo, including tarping and handling dangerous goods.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Willing to train.
  • Skills: Excellent written communication, flexibility, reliability, and team player.
  • License: Valid driver's license and willingness to drive manual transmission vehicle.
Work Environment:

As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will work in a fast-paced environment, with varying locations and tasks. You will be required to work 40 to 60 hours per week, with the possibility of extended periods of travel.
