Job Title: Beauty Salon Attendant

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Beauty Salon Attendant to join our team at Harwood Salon and Spa & HK Computers and Gift Shop.

Job Summary:

The Beauty Salon Attendant will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and assisting with various tasks related to the salon's operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the reception desk and customer waiting area.
  • Assist with shampooing customers' hair and performing other salon services as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with ordering and maintaining salon supplies, including shampoo, conditioner, and other products.
  • Book appointments and manage the salon's schedule.
  • Support the integration of newcomers and refugees into the community, including assisting with settlement needs and providing access to community resources.
  • Participate in programs and initiatives that support youth employment and provide on-the-job training and mentorship opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities and provide cultural competency training to employees.
Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Work Environment:

The Beauty Salon Attendant will work in a fast-paced salon environment, interacting with customers and colleagues on a daily basis.

English.

Hours:

40 hours per week.
