Key Responsibilities- Support the development of commercial agreements with subcontractors in a cross-functional environment.
- Conduct evaluations, coordinate, and participate in commercial and technical negotiation activities between subcontractors and internal functions leading to final selection.
- Ensure supplier contract adherence and negotiate product change management commercial claims.
- Responsible for ensuring supplier's technical and programmatic performance in support of specific program business objectives.
- Lead various activities, including the evaluation and implementation of continuous improvement opportunities.
- Influence and apply change management techniques to bring all departments and suppliers to an aligned vision around program requirements.
- Make decisions and act on the program manager's behalf for all performance matters relating to the subcontract within the boundaries of contractual agreements.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration or equivalent seven (7) to ten (10) years of relevant experience.
- Good negotiation skills and strong experience in project management, financial management, and operations.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Active listening skills and ability to build rapport easily.
- Knowledge of legal terminology and interpretation of contracts is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with integrated supply chain and lean manufacturing concepts.
- Ability to work with MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook.
- Proven communication skills internally and with customers.
- Team player, recognized for leadership and innovation skills, and good communicator in French and English (written and spoken).
Successful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at the reliability status level and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and ITAR.
