About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team at Intelliware Development. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex applications that are highly scalable and extensible.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-quality applications using Java, Spring, and JavaScript
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to estimate, task, and prototype software solutions
  • Contribute to a shared codebase, ensuring clear and maintainable code
  • Investigate and apply new technologies and processes to improve software development
  • Clarify requirements with team and client representatives
Requirements
  • Proven experience designing and developing complex applications
  • Fluent in Java and experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS or Azure
  • Strong fundamental knowledge of computer science algorithms, data structures, and design patterns
  • Experience designing distributed systems at scale, handling large data sets with Apache Spark, Kafka, Kinesis, and Hadoop toolsets
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform
Preferred Skills
  • Exposure to Agile approaches to software development, including automated testing, continuous integration, and pair programming
  • Fluent in HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks
  • Relational and/or NoSQL databases, SQL queries, and object relational mapping tools
  • Distributed computing and platform as a service
  • UNIX, Linux, and W3C technologies, including HTTP and XML
  • Automated build, test, and deployment tools
