About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a registered Laboratory Technologist to bring their expertise to our dynamic Laboratory department. You will be responsible for performing routine lab procedures, rotating through various disciplines, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine lab procedures, including Chemistry, Hematology, Transfusion Medicine, Microbiology, and Anatomical Pathology
- Rotate through various disciplines to gain a broad understanding of laboratory procedures
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care
As a Medical Laboratory Technologist II at Northern Health Authority, you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including MSP, extended health/dental, and a municipal pension plan. Requirements- Graduation from an accredited Medical Laboratory technology program
- Eligible for certification from the Canadian Society of Laboratory Technologists
- Ability to organize work, establish effective work relationships, and sustain attention to accuracy and detail
