Industrial Mechanic

McCain Foods (Canada) is seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic to join our team at the Florenceville Potato Processing Plant. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment and machinery
- Conduct inspections and troubleshoot issues to prevent downtime and optimize production
- Collaborate with production and maintenance colleagues to ensure seamless operations
- Develop and maintain a productive working relationship with production and maintenance colleagues
- Work rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Fully licensed industrial mechanic and/or a diploma in a relevant technical field
- Excellent organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to accept and embrace change in a fast-paced environment
- Strong working knowledge of PC's and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to successfully work individually or collaboratively with others
- Must work with a sense of urgency
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment considered an asset
