Food Service Attendant

We are seeking a skilled Food Counter Attendant to join our team at 1295322 B.C. Ltd. As a Food Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth food service experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Food Preparation: Portion and wrap foods, prepare, heat and finish simple food items.
- Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take customers' orders.
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment.
- Supply Management: Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas.
- Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, sweep, mop, wash and polish floors.
- We offer on-the-job training tailored to the needs of newcomers and refugees.
- Assists with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees, such as housing, transportation, storage, childcare, winter clothing, etc.
- We provide on-the-job training tailored to the needs of youth.
- We offer mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
- We provide staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers.
Working Conditions: Permanent position, 40 hours per week, English language.
