Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager to join our team at the National Bank of Canada. As a Manager in the Counterparty Documentation Center, you will play a key role in supporting international subsidiaries and branches of the Bank, as well as the Financial Institutions Group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of professionals responsible for delivering various activities
  • Develop and maintain expertise in due diligence, applicable regulations, and counterparty lifecycle management
  • Provide customer-centric support to customers and internal partners
  • Simplify and improve processes related to daily activities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with multiple stakeholders
  • Develop, implement, and evolve controls and tools to achieve high quality standards and minimize operational risks
  • Act as a coach and guide the team to develop their potential
About the Team

This position reports to the Senior Manager - Counterparty Documentation Center and is located in downtown Montreal. Our team values everyone's passions and bold ideas, and we are united in our commitment to helping our clients achieve their goals and our colleagues achieve what they love in life.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree related to the sector of activity and 6 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree related to the sector and 4 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in personnel management and stakeholder management
  • Experience in Financial Markets
  • Good knowledge of the Proceeds of Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Act
  • Experience in process improvement and automation
  • Organizational capacity in managing daily activities and the impact of projects
  • Demonstrated ability in change management
