Job Title: Application Developer

Taylor Steel Inc. is seeking a skilled Application Developer to join our Information Systems Group. As an Application Developer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining in-house software applications using Progress Software's OpenEdge development environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and test software applications to meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with the software development team to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for software applications.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of software development processes.
Requirements:
  • University degree or College diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Experience with Progress Software's OpenEdge GUI for.NET platform and with git (or other version control systems).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
