Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate the receipt, storage, and shipment of products to ensure timely delivery to customers.
  • Verify incoming and outgoing materials to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Collaborate with sales, purchasing, and other departments to optimize product delivery and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and analyze productivity and quality metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage inventory control and order selection processes to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support as needed.
  • Cultivate a safe and efficient work environment by enforcing safety standards, maintaining cleanliness, and promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Operate a forklift or obtain certification within a reasonable timeframe.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse, distribution center, shipping, and receiving department, or similar environment.
  • The ability to lift up to 100 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
  • Previous forklift experience or willingness to obtain certification.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and excellent communication skills.
  • Basic math skills for inventory management and English verbal and written proficiency for reading purchase orders and communicating with colleagues.
  • A strong track record of reliability, safety, and teamwork.
