As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial part in enriching the lives of Canadians by developing and executing an engaging recreation program at one of our resorts.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, have excellent time management skills, and be able to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision. Reliable transportation is essential for this role, which requires working weekends and evenings.

About the Role

This customer-facing position involves assisting in the development and execution of the recreation program at the resort. You will be responsible for booking and coordinating external recreation events & suppliers, leading high-quality recreation programs, and promoting and implementing Kids Club, sport, family, and some adult programs.

You will work closely with the management team to ensure program supply needs are correct & purchased in a timely manner, and assist in other areas as required. Cleaning duties may also be necessary from time to time.

Responsibilities
  • Create promotional materials (emails, newsletters, posters) to advertise the recreation program
  • Book and coordinate external recreation events & suppliers (i.e., bands, entertainers, fireworks)
  • Lead high-quality recreation programs at a specified program location
  • Promote and implement Kids Club, sport, family, and some adult programs
  • Assist with creating resort event calendars and program plans
  • Work with the management team to ensure program supply needs are correct & purchased in a timely manner

What We Offer

As a Seasonal Recreation Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in recreation program planning and implementation, customer service, and teamwork. You will also be exposed to all facets of the operation, including customer service, administration, maintenance, health and safety, and compliance.

We offer a competitive rate of pay ($19-20/hr), and an end-of-season contract fulfillment bonus. You will also have the chance to participate in team-building activities, such as lunches and barbeques, and enjoy a culture of fun and collaboration.
