Job Title: Onsite Medical Representative

Amazon Canada Fulfillment Services, ULC is seeking an experienced and innovative Onsite Medical Representative to join our team. As an Onsite Medical Representative, you will play a critical role in providing medical support and promoting health and wellness among Amazon Associates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide first aid and medical support to Amazon Associates, including evaluating and treating injuries and illnesses.
  • Advise Amazon Associates on occupational and non-occupational injuries and provide guidance on health and wellness practices.
  • Develop and maintain a clean and organized medical supply inventory and ensure that all medical equipment is properly maintained.
  • Participate in special projects and ad hoc tasks as assigned by the WHS site manager.
  • Communicate effectively with Amazon Associates, managers, and other stakeholders to promote health and wellness and provide medical support.
Requirements:
  • High school or equivalent diploma.
  • Valid Provincial Primary Care Paramedic Certification from the Ministry of Health AND/OR the Canadian Organization of Paramedic Regulators, or equivalent certification.
  • Valid card evidencing successful completion of standard first aid with CPR/AED level A or C from a Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) approved certifying authority.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certified to teach first aid, CPR, and AED training from Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Red Cross.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with an industrial wellness program.
  • Passion for promoting health and wellness.
