We are seeking a skilled Greenhouse Labourer to join our team at Heeman Greenhouses Limited. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and productivity of our greenhouse crops.
Key Responsibilities- Cut and harvest horticultural crops to ensure optimal quality and yield
- Assist in pruning trees, shrubs, and plants to promote healthy growth
- Mix and prepare soils to meet the specific needs of our crops
- Plant bulbs and seeds to ensure a strong start for our greenhouse crops
- Apply fertilizers and other treatments as needed to promote healthy growth and prevent disease
- Report any signs of insect or disease damage to ensure prompt action is taken to protect our crops
- Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens to ensure optimal health and productivity
As a Greenhouse Labourer, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a large workload. You will be required to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work in a physically demanding environment.
Requirements- Experience in floriculture production or a related field is an asset

- Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in wet/damp conditions
As a Greenhouse Labourer, you will be required to work in a non-smoking environment with exposure to odours, hot and cold temperatures, and wet/damp conditions.
