Electrical Project Manager Role Overview

The Electrical Project Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing our Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) process, ensuring seamless collaboration between internal and external stakeholders to maximize project efficiency, quality, and timeliness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the IPD process, integrating cross-functional teams to streamline project delivery.
  • Pursue and secure new IPD work, building relationships with potential clients and partners to grow IPD portfolio.
  • Coordinate with designers, engineers, and construction professionals to establish and maintain project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and work plans, aligning with IPD objectives.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across all project stakeholders.
  • Identify risks proactively, developing mitigation strategies to keep projects on budget and time.
  • Work with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources.
  • Track and report IPD progress, KPIs, and key milestones to internal teams and clients.
  • Champion continuous improvement practices, driving innovation in IPD.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience with IPD projects and methods.
  • Minimum of 5 years in project management, preferably within the electrical contracting or construction industry.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Primavera).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and codes for electrical contracting.
  • Certifications such as PMP or LEED are advantageous.
Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary, including bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package. The estimated annual salary for this role is $85,000-$110,000 CAD, depending on experience.
