About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Glass Cutter Specialist to join our team at Kismet Glass Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our glass finishing machines, ensuring high-quality products are produced efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Glass Finishing Machines: You will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and operating our glass finishing machines to grind, drill, sand, bevel, decorate, wash, or polish glass or glass products.
  • Inspect and Quality Control: You will visually inspect products for quality, ensuring they meet our high standards.
  • Machine Setup and Adjustment: You will set up and adjust automatic glass feeding, flowing, and forming machines to optimize production.
  • Hand Tool Operations: You will cut glass along marked outlines or around patterns using hand tools, examining and marking defective glass to obtain the best cut.
  • Product Preparation: You will place patterns on or under glass for cutting, measure and mark glass, and smooth rough edges using belt sanders or smoothing wheels.
Requirements
  • Education: You must have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: You must have at least 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Physical Demands: You must be able to handle heavy loads, work in a physically demanding environment, and have good hand-eye coordination.
  • Personal Qualities: You must be a team player with attention to detail and good communication skills.
