As a Senior AAA Production Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our upcoming project by overseeing production processes, fostering collaboration among team members, and ensuring seamless execution of project goals.

Job Overview:

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in video game production, with a proven track record of leading complex projects on multiple AAA titles. A strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum, or Lean production principles is essential, as well as expertise in defining and implementing production strategies that balance quality, budget, and time constraints.

You will be responsible for refining production workflows, introducing innovative tools and techniques to enhance team efficiency, and providing guidance to team members to ensure they have the necessary resources and direction to meet project expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and Implement Production Strategies: Develop and refine overall production strategies that align with project goals, quality standards, and time-sensitive milestones.
  • Refine Production Workflows: Continuously evaluate and improve production processes to bolster planning strategies, streamline workflows, and prevent bottlenecks.
  • Mentor and Support Team Members: Provide guidance, support, and resources to team members to ensure they can meet project expectations and maintain high productivity levels.
  • Oversee Capacity Planning: Ensure production teams are adequately staffed and organized to handle project scope and complexity.
  • Validate Resource Allocation and Task Prioritization: Collaborate with the team to validate resource allocation and task prioritization, adjusting as needed to meet evolving project needs.

A successful Senior AAA Production Strategist will also be expected to communicate effectively with stakeholders, identifying and addressing potential risks related to schedule, resources, or production alignment. Additionally, this role requires the ability to lead cross-departmental efforts to resolve production challenges, ensuring issues are resolved quickly with minimal impact to the project timeline and budget.

Requirements:
  • 10+ Years of Experience: In video game production, with at least 3+ years in a senior production role overseeing complex projects on multiple shipped AAA titles.
  • Strong Expertise: In defining and implementing production strategies that balance quality, budget, and time constraints, as well as refining production workflows and introducing innovative tools and techniques.
  • Agile Methodologies: Proven ability to apply Agile, Scrum, or Lean production principles in a production environment.
  • Project Management: Advanced understanding of project management principles, including experience managing schedules, budgets, and large-scale game development timelines.
