Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. The successful candidate will provide professional nursing services for patients with complex and unpredictable health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide independent nursing services to patients with complex health needs.
  • Administer prescribed medical treatments and medications.
  • Lead the healthcare team in providing patient care and facilitating coordination of patient care and discharge.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program.
  • Minimum of one year current medical/surgical experience required.
  • Surgical experience preferred.
  • PANSU experience preferred.
  • A satisfactory employment record required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Recent Rehabilitation Nursing experience preferred.
  • Active participation in professional associations e.g. Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) preferred.
  • Current B.C.L.S. certification required.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with moderate to heavy physical effort required.

This term position may end earlier as outlined in your collective agreement.

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment.
