Software Development Co-op/Intern for Nokia

Nokia seeks highly skilled individuals to fill a Software Development Co-op/Intern position. This exciting role offers the opportunity to work with our talented team and contribute to the development of innovative software solutions.
We are looking for candidates with solid computer science fundamentals, programming skills in Java, JavaScript, React, and Go, and strong problem-solving abilities. Experience with software development and collaboration tools, such as Git, IDEs, Jira, and Teams, is also desired.
In this role, you will collaborate with software designers and testers to refine requirements, develop, and test product features. You will also investigate and fix product defects, enhance automated test suites, and participate in Agile development methodologies.
Responsibilities- Develop software features and products in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Investigate and resolve product defects
- Enhance automated testing capabilities
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited Canadian institution
- Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and SQL
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, React, and Go programming languages
- Experience with software development and collaboration tools
- Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
Nokia provides a dynamic and supportive work environment that encourages innovation and growth. Our competitive compensation package includes a salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, and benefits such as health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
