Job Overview

Cobs Bread 130th is seeking a skilled Pastry Craftsman to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory pastries, breads, and desserts.

Salary and Benefits

Job Description
  • Prepare and bake mixed dough and batters for various pastries, breads, and desserts according to recipes or special customer orders;
  • Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods to meet established standards;
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure quality and safety standards are met;
  • Operate machinery safely and efficiently;
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and physically demanding tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience in a bakery or pastry production environment;
  • Demonstrated skills in cake decorating, frosting, and piping;
  • Ability to distinguish between colors and work accurately under pressure;
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects;
  • Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Location and Work Environment

This position is located at Cobs Bread 130th, where you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment. You will be required to work a standard 35-hour week, with some overtime as needed.
