Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Services Supervisor to join our team at OHKIM Sushi and Grill. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food services department, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and compliance.
  • Inventory Management
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory levels.
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future planning.
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that food and service meet our high quality control standards, consistently delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare and submit reports on departmental performance, highlighting areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Government Programs
    • Recognized employer with a commitment to excellence.
    • Permanent work term with a minimum of 30 to 40 hours per week.
    • Work language: English.
