About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Engineer to join our team as a Quality Control Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for managing Quality Control and Quality Assurance services on construction projects involving aggregates and Portland cement concrete.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project management of Quality Control and Quality Assurance services
  • Budget management and invoicing
  • Review and reporting of laboratory testing of various materials
  • Development of proposals and completion of technical reporting
  • Mentor and oversee laboratory, field staff and other professionals
  • Promote and facilitate business development to a growing client base
  • Develop an extensive knowledge in various Departmental and materials testing specifications
  • Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 10 years of working experience in a similar engineering field
  • Experience and personal skills to mentor other staff
  • Member (or eligibility) of Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of New Brunswick (APEGNB)
  • Team-oriented and an excellent communicator
  • Valid driver's license
  • Willingness and ability to travel throughout New Brunswick on an as-required basis
