Job Summary

Insight Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Software Licensing Consultant to join our team. As a Software Licensing Consultant, you will be responsible for engaging with clients and sales teams to understand their software licensing needs, presenting solutions, and resolving customer concerns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Ownership: Own all aspects of customer contracts and interactions, including T-36 plans for Microsoft.
  • Business Opportunity Closure: Aid in closing specific business opportunities, including renewals, true-ups, and net new business.
  • Upselling and Cross-Selling: Identify business opportunities during customer conference calls and upsell where applicable.
  • Licensing Support: Provide up-to-date information regarding opportunities in progress across all supported products.
  • Transactional Licensing: Provide licensing support for transactional Microsoft licensing programs, including MPSA, CSP, Select Plus, and Open Value/Subscription.
  • Analysis and Support: Support clients in their decision-making by providing detailed analyses of available options.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with Insight Product Managers and manufacturer representatives on sales, product awareness, and the competitive environment.
  • Travel Requirements: Occasional travel may be required in compliance with Insight's travel policy.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, 2+ years' experience in product knowledge or a combination of education and experience.
  • Certifications: Must have or will attain Certified Microsoft Partner Commercial Executive (P-CE).
  • Continuing Education: Should maintain continued education around various programs of supported products, including Microsoft certifications.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Volume Licensing Programs, strong communication skills, both written and verbal, analytical and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced usage), Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
