Job Title: Software Licensing Consultant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Licensing Consultant to join our team at Insight Technology. As a Software Licensing Consultant, you will be responsible for owning all aspects of the customer's contract and customer interaction, including items such as the T-36 plan in the case of Microsoft.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Management: Own all aspects of the customer's contract, including contract renewal, true-ups, and net new business.
- Business Development: Identify specific business opportunities during customer conference calls and upsell where applicable.
- Licensing Support: Provide up-to-date information regarding the opportunities that are in progress across all supported products.
- Transaction Support: Provide licensing support for transactional Microsoft licensing programs including MPSA, CSP, Select Plus, and Open Value/Subscription.
- Client Support: Support the client in their decision-making by providing detailed analyses of the available options.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with Insight Product Manager and manufacturer representatives on sales, product awareness, and the competitive environment.
- Travel: Occasional travel may be required in compliance with Insight's travel policy.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university, 2+ years' experience in product knowledge or a combination of education and experience.
- Certification: Must have or will attain Certified Microsoft Partner Commercial Executive (P-CE).
- Continuing Education: Should maintain continued education around the various programs of the products supported, such as Microsoft Certified in Azure Fundamentals, Power Platform Fundamentals, Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, and Microsoft 365 Certified Fundamentals.
- Skills: Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Volume Licensing Programs, strong communication skills, both written and verbal, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Software Proficiency: Must be able to use Microsoft Excel (advanced usage), Outlook, Teams, SharePoint.
