Job Summary

Achievers is seeking a Jr. Design Specialist to support our Digital Delivery team in bringing creative ideas to life and seeing them through from concept to completion. This role will assist our Sr. Design Specialist in helping others interpret the world around them through color, texture, images, and symbols, making the digital ecosystem more user-friendly and driving natural organic conversions.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Sr. Design Specialist in creating landing pages, brand assets, ads, and other marketing materials.
  • Assist the Sr. Design Specialist in executing all visual design stages from concept ideation to final hand-off.
  • Work directly with developers to deploy designs where needed.
  • Support the Sr. Design Specialist in maintaining a Design System/library of assets and organization of project files.
  • Collaborate with the UX lead to gain understanding of wireframes and user journey flow mapping.
  • Support the Sr. Design Specialist in preparing final assets for internal and stakeholder reviews.
  • Maintain best practices and industry standards as they relate to all design initiatives.
  • Support in delivering flawless final assets based on agreed-upon timelines.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest software updates and technology.
  • Provide quality assurance of all creative deliverables, aligning with project briefs and stakeholder objectives.
  • Mentor and coach team members through project development and performance management.
  • Collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders and team members.
  • Receive feedback from other designers and team members to improve designs.
  • Contribute to the development of creative assets and output.
  • Organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Express ideas clearly, on-brand, on-message, and targeted to the audience.
  • Understand the importance of brand continuity, brand guidelines, and brand positioning.
  • Actively seek opportunities to learn and improve skills.
Qualifications
  • A portfolio of past design work.
  • Bachelor's degree or college diploma in Art/Design or related field.
  • 2-3 years of work experience.
  • Strong conceptual ability, with experience working on marketing materials and campaigns.
  • Ability to support the Sr. Design Specialist in transforming creativity and passion for ideas, innovation, and technology into solutions rooted in strategy and data.
  • Strong design craftsmanship and a keen eye for detail, with experience working on a variety of media with a heavy focus on web design.
  • Experience working with a copywriter, developers, and strategist, with a focus on UX.
  • Team player with a knack for collaboration and a willingness to learn.
  • Strong communication skills and comfortable presenting to groups.
  • Proficiency in Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator, Sketch, InDesign, Figma, and other design software.
  • Well-developed communication skills and ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely.
