Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Deficiency Quotation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for pricing fire deficiencies and recommendations generated from service inspections performed by our skilled sprinkler fitters.
You will prepare quotes for building owners, contractors, and tender opportunities pertaining to retrofit projects and tenant improvements.
Your responsibilities will also include completing pre-qualification documents, reviewing drawings/specifications, developing proposals, securing purchase orders/contracts;
Conducting site visits and liaising effectively with consultants, engineers, general contractors, site supervisors, and other trades;
Coordinating the preparation of drawings, material lists, safety plans, and field installation with site crews.
You will also coordinate design, material, labour, subcontractors, and change orders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Post-Secondary Diploma in Fire Protection Engineering or a related field of study;
- 3-5 years' experience in Fire Alarm inspection, testing, maintenance, and/or sales;
- Demonstrated organizational skills;
- The ability to collaborate and work effectively within a team.
