We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to join our Mergers and Acquisitions team as an Associate or Senior Associate. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for executing the M&A process, from deal sourcing to closure. This role requires dedication, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well under pressure with multiple competing deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily activities of acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, or financing assignments.
  • Develop and review financial models within defined guidelines.
  • Synthesize research information for modeling, competitive analysis, industry analysis, negotiation support, and other applications.
  • Prepare quality first drafts of pitches, marketing materials, management presentations, and client presentations.
  • Oversee electronic data rooms and manage due diligence processes for buy and sell-side engagements.
  • Collaborate with VPs and SVPs to identify and explore potential new business opportunities.
  • Perform financial due diligence, including analysis, data management, and report writing.
  • Support administrative activities, including independence compliance documentation, engagement agreements, time budgets, and billings.
  • Collaborate with other service lines, such as Transaction Support, Valuations, and Restructuring.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4+ years of relevant work experience in investment banking, M&A, financing, corporate development, financial analysis, or a related field.
  • Professional designations, such as CPA, CBV, or CFA, are an asset.
