We are seeking a skilled Property Maintenance Associate to join our team at the Best Western Plus Lacombe Inn and Suites. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in maintaining a clean and safe environment.
About the JobThe Property Maintenance Associate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to:
- Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and waxing hallways, floors, and stairs
- Emptying trash cans and other waste containers
- Washing windows, interior walls, and ceilings
- Making adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Contacting tradespersons for major repairs
The ideal candidate will have excellent physical stamina, as this role requires working under pressure, handling heavy loads, and being physically demanding.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you must have:
- A strong work ethic and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent oral communication skills and dependability
- Initiative and judgement when making decisions
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities
You will also require basic knowledge of power tools, security systems, and equipment operation.
CompensationThis full-time position offers an estimated salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
