Job Title: Heavy Duty Mechanic Specialist

Schedule: Local: eight (8) days on, six (6) days off. Shop and field positions.

Education and Experience:

  • Journeyman Heavy Duty, Millwright or Automotive Certification required.
  • Four to five years of related experience.
  • Successful completion of the Interprovincial Journeyman Red Seal program is preferred.
  • Certified to complete CVIP / DOT inspections would be considered an asset.
  • Unrestricted Class 5 driver's license with satisfactory driver's abstract.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and knowledge of heavy duty mechanics, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Previous experience as a heavy duty mechanic, heavy duty mechanic-apprentice, oil and gas, mechanic, apprentice, journeyperson, journeyperson heavy duty, automotive, millwright, red seal, Interprovincial Journeyman, is an asset.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year based on location and experience.
