Housekeeping Attendant Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Jay. As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our motel rooms and common areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Change bed linen and make beds to a high standard
  • Wash and replace used linen
  • Empty rubbish and recycling bins
  • Vacuum and sweep floors and carpets
  • Mop floors and clean surfaces
  • Dust and clean furniture and fixtures
  • Check inventory and restock/replace items as needed
  • Adhere to safety and sanitation standards at all times

Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
  • Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment
