We are seeking an experienced Executive Culinary Team Leader at Winifred's English Pub. This key role will oversee the culinary operations and lead a team of chefs to deliver exceptional food experiences for our customers.

About the Role

This is a permanent position, with a salary range of $65,000 - $75,000 per annum. The successful candidate will work approximately 30-40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to the culinary team, enhancing their skills and knowledge.
  • Supervise specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets, ensuring exceptional presentation and taste.
  • Prepare and cook food regularly, or for special guests or functions, meeting customer expectations.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, prioritizing their safety and satisfaction.
  • Recruit and train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, maintaining a skilled and motivated team.
