Job Summary:

DRS Pivotal Power is seeking an Electronics Assembler to join our team. As an Electronics Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling, modifying, reworking, and repairing electronic and electrical assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, modify, rework, and repair electronic and electrical assemblies
  • Work from documentation sets, including wiring and assembly drawings, work instructions, and engineering specs
  • Perform repetitive electrical assembly and subassembly using hand tools, including powered tools, solder irons, and wire crimpers
  • Prepare wire, crimp lugs, and solder basic wire connections
  • Operate within standard operating procedures and quality standards
  • Perform other light assembly work as directed

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and related work experience
  • Minimum 1+ years of related work experience in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of soldering is an asset
  • Manual dexterity
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required
  • Must follow company safety policy
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
