Job Summary

The Team Lead, Distribution Center will support the management team in planning and organizing the daily operations of their team, allocating resources, and executing processes, while maintaining a safe and positive work environment in line with the company's values and ethics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct active supervisory tours;
  • Analyze floor operations, prioritize tasks, and allocate team members based on operational needs;
  • Ensure operational productivity of their team, support members in achieving productivity targets, and conduct follow-ups on the development and progression of new team members;
  • Promote occupational health and safety standards and procedures in case of workplace accidents;
  • Ensure the team works in a safe environment and adheres to occupational health and safety standards;
  • Identify team members' training needs and suggest opportunities for improvement;
  • Complete various production and 5S method reports;
  • Ensure the maintenance of procedures related to the final product quality;
  • Participate in the implementation of continuous improvement procedures;
  • Control the department's workflow to ensure it is adequate;
  • Make recommendations related to the work environment and equipment used by the team.

Requirements

  • Diploma in college studies in administration, logistics, operations management, or an equivalent combination of studies and experience;
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a similar position;
  • Ability to coordinate multiple activities simultaneously and manage priorities;
  • Good knowledge of the Office suite, particularly Excel;
  • Good communication and leadership skills;
  • Organized, meticulous, and detail-oriented;
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and high-volume environment.
