Job Description


Maintain the optimal performance of CNC machines and other production equipment by performing routine mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical tasks.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on CNC machines and other production equipment to ensure they operate within specified parameters.
  • Use precision measurement instruments to diagnose and repair issues with equipment.
  • Consult blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents to troubleshoot and resolve equipment problems.
  • Follow established maintenance schedules and protocols to minimize downtime and ensure timely delivery of products to internal and external customers.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service tasks.
  • Diagnose and repair complex equipment problems using a combination of technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Comply with safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Communicate effectively with maintenance technicians, staff, and management to ensure seamless collaboration and coordination.

Requirements:



  • Minimum 5 years of experience working as a maintenance technician on CNC machines and other production equipment.
  • Graduation from a technical college with a maintenance technician certification or equivalent.
  • Industrial millwright or/and industrial electrician trade certificate (433A and/or 442A) is an asset.
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical drawings.
  • Knowledge of CNC and PLC-controlled machines (Siemens, Fanuc, and other major control manufacturers).
  • Experience with welding and fabrication.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office package).
