We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team at CB Canada. This is a full-time/permanent role on site, with no opportunity to work remotely.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain an accurate vendor list.
- Enter vendors invoices.
- Verify and enter packing slips against purchase orders to receive inventory.
- Prepare vendor account reconciliation; business bank account & Credit Card reconciliation.
- Issue Purchase Orders.
- Order office and vendors supplies.
- Prepare journal entries.
- Prepare month end closing.
- Post-secondary education in accounting or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with great attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in various accounting software such as Great Plains would be an asset.
- Self-starter & eager to learn.
