Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in Powell River, BC. As a member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, providing support to patients and their families as needed.
- Work collaboratively with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain and advance clinical competence, adhering to the standards of practice for Licensed Practical Nurses in British Columbia.
- Graduation from a recognized program for Practical Nurses or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Current practicing registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and to deal with others effectively.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
