About the Job

This is a permanent, full-time position with a salary of approximately $120,000 per year. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in this field and be registered as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association.

The primary responsibilities of this role include research, design, develop, and integrate computer and telecommunications hardware, supervise, inspect, and provide design support during the manufacturing, installation, and implementation of computer and telecommunications hardware, and lead and co-ordinate teams of engineers, technologists, technicians, and drafters in the design and development of computer and telecommunications hardware.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of Python programming language, fibre optics, microwave transmission, project management, research and development, semiconductor, system integration, telecommunications, analog and digital signal, integrated circuits, and welding techniques. You should also be able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.

Furthermore, you must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, be a team player, and demonstrate initiative, judgement, and organization.
