About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Painter Apprentice to join our team at REPARATIONS D'AUTO LE CREUSOT. As an Automotive Painter Apprentice, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced painters in preparing and painting vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and Maintain Workspace: Ensure a safe and organized work environment by cleaning and maintaining the workspace, including tools and equipment.
  • Prepare Surfaces for Painting: File, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired, and mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting.
  • Apply Primers and Paints: Apply primers and repaint surfaces to achieve a high-quality finish.
  • Mix and Match Colors: Mix paint, blend, and match colors to ensure a perfect match.
  • Assist Experienced Painters: Work alongside experienced painters to learn and develop your skills.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Site Environment: Dusty, noisy, and odorous work environment.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.

Language and Work Schedule

The language of work is English or French, and the work schedule is 30 to 40 hours per week.
